HORIZON STEEL ROLLERS
Horizon Steel Conveyor Rollers and Idlers Sets are manufactured in-house to very high quality standards.
TUBES:
Accurately cut to length and square, to ensure concentric alignment of the welded bearing housing.
BEARING HOUSINGS:
· Deep drawn from high grade carbon steel.
· The bearing seat is accurately coined to meet the bearing manufactures specified tolerances.
· The seal seats are accurately sized to give an interference fit for the labyrinth seal arrangement.
BEARINGS:
Series BB1B seize-resistant bearings open plastic for certain applications. Alternatively, C3 clearance (ZZ or 2RS) sealed-for-life bearings are used, depending on application and customer specifications.
ROLLER SHELL ASSEMBLY:
Both bearing housings accurately and simultaneously auto M.I.G welded to the ends of the tube.
PRIMARY SEALS:
Non-friction, triple labyrinth grease filled seal is fitted.
FLINGER SEALS:
Large diameter stationary flinger seal is fitted, mainly in cases where rollers are cleaned down with water spray, or where product builds up between the roller ends and mounting brackets, which can cause jams and rotating seal damage.
Alternative Seal Types:
Flame retardant multi-lip seals can be fitted if requested. (Not as standard)
FINISH: One coat matt yellow as standard, or to suit customer specifications.
Diameters available: 76mm (3"), 90mm (3½"), 102mm (4"), 127mm (5"), 168mm (6½")
Types: Trough, Return, Impact, Disc Return.
